I took 25-2 quiz. It was about who and
whom. I knew from an experience that whom is more formal and we use it with question at the most and with writing like essay or journalism, but who is more casual we use it when we speak with someone also with texting with friends sometimes. The quiz was too easy. I had example for using whom with question like " In his first production of Hamlet, (who /whom) did Laurence Olivier
replace?" There is also an example for using who "Houdini's skills were so great that even those of us (who / whom) knew how he
performed his arts were often amazed." Overall whom is more formal than who. Who it uses with friend but whom with family or someone you respect more. We use who with speaking and sometimes with writing, but whom with writing and usually comes with question.
