ENGL140 -ALNASHMI, Abdulraouf - Week 3 2/4

I took 36-3 quiz. It was about apostrophes. It was the most difficult quiz I have ever taken. I got most of my answers by luck. I noticed that I can guess the answers by the context, or my eyes used to notice that like “After a tutoring program was instituted at City College, our chemistry (student's / students') test scores rose dramatically.”, in that’s sentence you will see student's is the better choice, but I knew that the reason is The apostrophe should follow the plural noun students. Some of my mistakes was “
Booties were placed on the sled (dog's / dogs') feet to protect them from sharp rocks and ice. [More than one dog],” and the answer is dogs because the apostrophe should follow the plural noun dogs. I also took 37-3 quiz. It was about Quotation marks. It was much better than apostrophes. I knew that I didn’t got a better score, but at least I knew something's. The question was mostly about the punctuations like “ My commanding officer said, "If we wanted you to have children, we would have issued them to you." The period is inside the final quotation mark and Stephen Leacock once said, "I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it." A comma is used following said to introduce a quotation.
