ENGL140 -ALNASHMI, Abdulraouf - Week 5 1/4

I took 31-2 quiz. It was super easy. It was about Prepositions showing time and place. The question was about choosing the correct prepositions on, in and at. I knew that we use in when we talk about something you can enter inside like a car or something you put it inside like the mailbox Ex. We spent seven days (at / on / in) June on the beach, and it rained every day. I also knew that we use on if we talk about day or something you can stand or set like the bus or table Ex. Yuri arrived in the United States (at / on / in) a Wednesday in June, Only the adults in the family were allowed to sit (at / on / in) the dining room table; the children ate in another room. We use at when we talk about time or place sometimes like at the school Ex. Sylvia met us for breakfast (at / on / in) 9 o'clock on the morning of her wedding. I had a mistake which was The kittens were sleeping (at / on / in) a wicker basket in the basement. I thought on because we sleep in the bed but the right answer is in because  before a noun indicating an enclosed space is in.
